If I’m using my own modem, how do I activate it with welo?

So you’re going the bring-your-own-modem route. Valid. Here’s how to get it up and running with welo:

• Hop on chat with welo support to make sure your modem meets our hardware requirements.
• Give us your  account number and your modem’s MAC address (that 12-digit code usually hiding on a sticker underneath the modem).
• Turn on your modem and connect a computer using an Ethernet cable.

Small but important detail
If you currently have a welo WiFi Gateway, you’ll need to send it back to us. Don’t worry, we’ll email you all the return details.
