Is your internet service stable?

We’re always working to keep your speeds stable and your service reliable.

You deserve uninterrupted access to all the things you love online. Connecting with your people. Sharing the latest reels, recipes, and highlights. Or, just unwinding with a stream-a-thon and chill.

No matter what you use the internet for, stability matters to us.

Here are some key things to know about us:

We’re part of a fiber-powered network.

We use a 100% fiber-optic backbone network—that’s the infrastructure in place that connects neighborhoods and streets to the internet. That means data is arriving to you at fiber speeds until the very final connection through coaxial cable into your home.

Our reliable WiFi starts with reliable equipment.

Our Wi-Fi 6 gateways (modem and router combined) were carefully selected for their stable WiFi capabilities and are designed to be “set-and-forget”, so you can enjoy all the things you love online without interruption.

With welo, your online world is never tied down to just one room. 1 gateway is typically good for WiFi coverage up to 1500 square feet. If you have a larger home, you can add up to 3 extenders to your plan for an additional monthly fee to get coverage up to 5,000 square feet.

How to test your actual network speeds.

During a hardwired test, you’ll be able to see the speeds being delivered to your home. Through the Plume App, you’ll see the speeds your gateway is receiving. Both options should show speeds at, or very close to, your plan speed.

Option 1: Hardwired speed test.

  1. Connect a device such as a laptop, PC, or tablet directly into your gateway with an ethernet cable.
  2. Turn on Airplane mode on the device, open a browser, and go to speedtest.net.
  3. Click “GO” to start the speed test. A hardwired speed test result like this will let you know the speeds currently being supplied to your home.

Option 2: Plume App speed test.

  1. Open the Plume Home WiFi app on your smartphone.
  2. On the home page, tap the "check speed" button.
  3. These results will show what speeds your gateway is receiving.
